Hi, I’m Lou - your friendly neighbourhood pube tidier, lash lifter and brow shaper!

After being made to feel uncomfortable at a wax appointment in a salon just before lock-down, I decided that I didn’t want anyone else to be left feeling bad about themselves - especially in a space that is specifically there to make them feel good.

I embarked on a series of training courses between lock-downs (& beyond) and in September 2020, LaLa Beauty was born.

My first clients - many of whom are still valued regulars - visited my home, where I had set-up shop in my dining room. A year later, everything moved upstairs, into a dedicated beauty room, where it stayed - business continuing to grow..

Until June 2025, when I took the leap to a street-fronted studio on a lovely little creative and independent road I’ve always loved.
